Wedding

Yesterday was the wedding of one of my oldest friends, Chris and Amber Shank. Chris and I have been friends since we were little kids and Amber was in our youth group at Valley Farms. My mom was good friends with Lori the mother of the groom. They use to babysit my sister and I when we were little. Very beautiful wedding. My job was to yell up the stairs and tell my sister when to play the music in the sound booth. It was good to catch up with people that were around the church that were more than friends; family. Just strange to see how much the "kids" have grown up. They had the reception in the basement of the church then an after party at one of the local bars. My friend and I were going to go to the after party but got busy and it was over by the time we realized.

Sweet Diana

Yesterday I went to the funeral of a dear friend Diana Malouf. She was an awesome woman who had great faith in God and served him faithfully for many years. She was like my second mom when I moved out of my mom and step-dads house in 2007. You never realize how much you loved a certain person until they are gone. It was great to catch up with her son, Hassan, to see old friends and make new ones. I had a dream the night before that Diana was sitting with us laughing and celebrating the life she lived.
